Qualification policy · google-reviews-v1

How a practice qualifies as Highly Rated

Every public practice must pass the same source-based rule. Qualification is assessed per branch and cannot be bought.

Policy version 1 · pilotAssessment date 2026-08-30

Five checks, all required

  1. At least 4.8 Google stars.
  2. At least 50 reviews from the same branch.
  3. A dated source snapshot recorded with the assessment.
  4. The practice is currently operational.
  5. The evidence belongs to the exact branch shown.

Rounding and source

The product uses the rating displayed by the named source. A displayed 4.8 passes; 4.79 is not rounded up. Missing, ambiguous or stale values do not pass.

Organic ordering

Qualification controls admission. Supported treatment or need relevance and geography come first; relevant current availability follows; comparable rating and review volume break ties. Claim state and generic completeness are excluded.

Featured is separate

Payment may buy one clearly labelled Featured position in an eligible place. It cannot create qualification, alter review evidence, restore a failed assessment or improve organic order. No Featured placement is currently sold in Croydon.

Corrections and reassessment

Owners may request a source refresh or report a branch mismatch; they cannot edit third-party review evidence. Repeated qualification loss pauses public and paid visibility during a 14-day correction window. Closure and wrong-branch findings pause immediately.

See the rule applied

Eleven of twenty assessed Croydon practices pass the current assessment. Practical owner facts are deliberately not inferred from review evidence.
